Not-for-Profit Case Study
Background: The not-for-profit organisation chosen for this case study was Coffee Box. This organisation trains and assists women, who may not otherwise have the opportunity, in gaining employment within the hospitality industry by providing a real world alfresco cafe for trainees to build their skills and knowledge. Coffee Box is innovative, fresh, and coastal. The branding needed to reflect the their unique personality.
Deliverables: A new logo, website, menus and advertising posters were designed. The existing colour palette was expanded upon with some vintage pastel colours to create a more defined identity. The website followed classic lines with some accents of colour for interest and was made based on a wordpress template to keep costs at a minimum. Menus were also designed in black and white and on readily available clipboards to be budget friendly and able to be printed from a standard office printer and replaced easily if there are spills or the menu changes. The posters were also designed as a simple, cost-effective advertising solution and are also able to be printed on any printer in A4 or larger sizes, using strong typography and puns to deliver impact and communicate the fun side of this organisation.
With punchy, approachable advertising and branding, the Coffee Box brand has been elevated by a beautiful and memorable identity.
