Background: Buddles is a boutique kids homewares brand looking to design, manufacture and create a range of bespoke products. Buddles needed a new identity for the product line, making the product ready for sale. A product line for children was to be created inspired by watercolour illustrations and underpinned by functionality and simplicity.

Deliverables: Buddles Blankets is a picnic blanket and accessory range, which is fun for kids and fashionable, useful and wearable for adults. The blankets fold neatly into a tote and have pockets for storing all sorts of items, which can be accessed whether the blanket is open or folded. Cushions and insulated lunch bags also completed the range. The fabric designs were created and printed specifically to add a bright, fun and tactile element to the overall look and feel of the product. I designed and created both the blankets and fabric designs and believe these are a truly unique product.
