Background: Clarence Magazine is a quarterly print and digital magazine published by Clarence Valley Council to keep up to date about what is happening in the community. The magazine is distributed across the valley and encourages communication and dialogue with local Councillors and the organisation more generally.
Deliverables: Working with the team at Clarence Valley Council, Volume one of the Magazine was designed to be accessible, appeal to all ages and available in both print and interactive digital formats to increase reach and engagement. The team at CVC wanted the magazine to be more visual and less technical and ‘wordy’, moving away from general Council communication styles and instead creating a warmer, more community centric feel to the publication.
Subsequent issues were designed in house using the inaugural look and feel set out in the first issue.
